The book promises what it delivers. The ability to learn how to apply newborn layering techniques for vinyl dolls. This is one of the most requested techniques from reborning students, so it was published seperately in it's own Case Study. For more details and techniques, in alot more pages, check out More on Mottling: and learn to create your own tools and techniques. FYI... The price is determined by Publishing costs, and Amazon's 55% margin. Thanks so much for reading...

Here are some comments from some of my customers who have purchased this book.

3/2/2008 I truly appreciate your many, many talents on reborning. I have learned more from your research on baby skin and bringing my reborns to life than by any other method I have used and if I could reclaim the $$ invested in other purchased techniques, I could probably afford your whole system and I'd buy it in a wink! BTW-I really enjoyed the layering snippet video, thanks again-you're the best!:)! Kind Regards, Sandra

2/24/2008 Hi,We just wanted to thank you for the excellent read on mottling, it has taught us some useful techniques which we are trying out, using the sponges is hell of a lot better than the berry maker, Thank you again, we will be back very soon to purchase more from you. Kind regards, Sue & Moe

Hi. WOW WOW WOW! This was just what I was looking for.
I've just finnished the 6th layer on my unexpected arrivel and I'm amazed at the results. I must admit I was brave and mixed other colours in. Now I just need some final touches and she will be the best I've done so far. I'm very pleased with your instructions. Thanks Joy

I just wanted to tell you. I have bought three of Jeannine's books. They are AWESOME. I love the illustrations, the directions, all of it. Thank her so much for sharing her secrets with others. I will be a better reborner because of her. Thanks again. Dawn

I could actually follow this book and make the doll come out somewhat like her pictures. Still some of the info is vague. Honestly, you could skip this book and still be okay. This book goes through a few paint mediums and shows how to layer them which if you have a newborn handy, you could do without the book. If not look at babies when you go out, not too much though the parents get paranoid. I would suggest saving your money for a doll and winging the layering, after all every baby is a "OOAK" one of a kind, so you can't go wrong.

I feel this small booklet is highly overpriced. It did not contain enough information. I think the author has divided her directions in books lets to maximize her profits.
